Animals
Rozino organic farm raises over 70 buffaloes of the Bulgarian Murrah breed and nearly 150 Jersey cows, and both breeds specialise in the production of unique quality milk. Animals are bred free-pasture. They have access to our natural meadows and pastures, rich in aromatic grasses and forest herbs, almost all year round, and when necessary we feed them with meadow hay and alfalfa harvested from us. A system of rotary pastures is used, which allows maximum improving all terrains, increasing biodiversity and protecting the land from erosion and depletion.
In our farm, in addition to buffaloes and cows, we raise small calves, horses, chickens, guinea fowl, turkeys, quails, peacocks, ducks, geese, rabbits, cats and dogs. On the territory of the site we observe different species of wild animals: hedgehogs, turtles, wild cats, woodpeckers, white and black storks, bald eagles and various other species of birds. In the river passing through the territory, there are already wild trout and crabs. Wild deer, roe deer come regularly from the mountain and for the second year in a row, a family of brown bears can be observed.
